The graphics of it are really cute and immersive. If you want the game to look like the characters are part of the ASCII art, you can do that. You can also change the scale at which you see things. I completely recommend this game.

The best i could describe it is chaotic fun, the style is god tier, i really like it a lot. I would love to see more stuff being added over time, to make each run more unique

It feels rogue-like Contra x Metroidvania Dread. I recommend adding 3 Lives, because we're talking about newbies playing this: once all the Health Points down to zero, you just died and can't continue your progress, let alone restarting. That current version you have now, consider it as "Dread" Difficulty. Matter of fact, consider the number of Lives as your level of Difficulty. Each Life has a standard of 5 Health Points.
